Chairman Jonathon Taylor

I am Jon Taylor and currently employed as the Fishing Development Officer for Cardiff Harbour Authority. This is a newly created post that started in Aug 2009.   I am a member of Glamorgan AC and until recently was Chairman of the club until taking up my new position at CHA.

I have been actively involved in angling organisation in various capacities for more than 20 yrs. I am on the committee of the FWA representing the WFCA and also sit on the National Coaching and Regional Panels for the FWA. I also sit on Fisheries, Ecology and Recreation Advisory Committee (Wales). and represent coarse angling in Wales on this committee

Treasurer Tony Rees MBE

Tony has been a very committed angler from a young age. He is also one of the original members of Merthyr Tydfil Angling Association and has been its treasurer from its inception. Tony has served on many different bodies representing angling including FERAC, he is chair of Welsh Salmon and Trout Association South East Region, he is also chair of the South East Wales Rivers Trust and represents WSTAA on the Executive Committee of FWA and also its coaching panel. He is a very highly thought of member of the fishing community and has represented the fishing community (coarse, game and sea) at government level both at Westminster and at Welsh Assembly Government. Tony loves coaching and loves to help people enjoy the benefits of fishing

Nick Massey – Secretary

Started fishing with my Grandfather aged around 5 on the canals of Liverpool, joined my 1st club aged 9 started match fishing a couple of years later and apart from time at college have continued to do so for the last 40+ years fishing all around the world in that time, from Denmark – USA. One of the founding members of the Ynys Mon A.A the largest coarse angling club on Anglesey in 1998, became a FWA L-1 Coach in 2003, joined the local FWA panel in 2006, became local coordinator in 2007, Executive Secretary of the WFCA in February 2009 and Executive Secretary of the FWA in March 2009.
